The Space

A therapy office should be a healing space, yet all too often our conventional therapy offices are set in sterile environments devoid of natural lighting or living things. We aim to change that outdated practice at Woodland Nature Therapy by intentionally creating a therapeutic space that draws in principles of biophilic design—the practice of creating building spaces that connect people to the natural environment through the use of direct and indirect nature.

Our waiting room incorporates high vaulted ceilings with skylights, large windows, and sliding glass doors that welcome in the natural light. Our therapy offices brim with living plants that provide oxygen to our clients. An outdoor redwood deck invites clients to take in the views of the towering redwoods around us.
